March 5, 2022: 【Demonstration Experiment】Sumida-ku, Tokyo × DJ Robotics

DJ Robotics (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Ray Yamazaki),

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, DJ Robotics (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Ray Yamazaki), in collaboration with the Institute of Information Management Innovation (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Ichiya Nakamura) and Sumida-ku, Tokyo (Mayor: Toru Yamamoto; hereinafter referred to as "Sumida-ku"), held a DJ demonstration event in the hall of iU University. (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Ichiya Nakamura) and Sumida-ku, Tokyo (Mayor: Toru Yamamoto; hereinafter referred to as "Sumida-ku") jointly held a DJ demonstration event using robots at a hall in iU University.

The event was held with the aim of promoting industry in Sumida Ward, which was selected as an "SDGs Future City" and "Municipal SDGs Model Project" in fiscal 2021.

DJ Robotics and five other students were involved in the planning and operation of the event, contributing to the success of the event.

Event Report

This event was held with the goal of helping humans develop an affinity for robots. The event was attended by about 30 people (including Sumida Children's PR Ambassadors) in person and about 20 people online, mainly elementary school students and their families living in Sumida City.

The results of the survey made it possible to reduce anxiety about robots, which was our initial goal.

The audience enjoyed the exciting program, which included a DJ demonstration by a robot, a DJ demonstration by a human, and interaction with a communication robot.

We will continue to deepen our cooperation with Sumida-ku and iU University to create opportunities for DJ demonstrations by robots and other collaborations in the future.
