DJ Robotics recently conducted a special AI technology training for the Center for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST) in Malaysia. This training focused on building application AI using Retrieval Augmented Generation and how to apply AI in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) environment, aiming for further innovation in the field of technical education.

The training was conducted in English and was led by our software engineer from Iceland, who is an American citizen. This engineer, who has extensive experience as a senior engineer at Meta and Apple, taught the eight vocational school teachers from Malaysia the basics and applications of AI technology.

The training was held at DJ Robotics' lab and at the Sumida Innovation Core, a Sumida-ku industrial co-creation facility that will celebrate its first anniversary on the 29th of this month. Participants were Instructors from CIAST that train TVET Instructor in Malaysia, and through an intensive course, they learned from the basics to practical applications of AI technology. During the training, participants designed RAG application using NLP (natural language processing) and created AI models that can be generated learning and material used in TVET environment.

DJ Robotics will continue to actively support the introduction of AI in the field of technical education, working with educational institutions and companies to provide training and programs to develop the next generation of engineers.
